Gold Star Pacesetters to Be on 100.7 FM 6.2.13!

We have some exciting news! Cami, her mom, and Mr. Pace will be on The Word, 100.7 FM tonight at 7 pm talking about our vaulting team and asking for donations for Regionals! http://www.divorcerescue.com/

The Gold Star Pacesetters would love to attend the Equestrian Vaulting Nationals Competition this year in August. Will you help us get there?

We need about $10,000 to get our horse there and for other travel expenses. We are willing to work hard for your help!

If we do not reach our goal, the money will go towards taking care of horses, Gus and Pearl, and new equipment for our team.

Gold Star Pacesetters Performed 3 Shows at the AmerEquine Horse and Music Festival

The Gold Star Pacesetters, an Equestrian Vaulting Team out of Burleson, Texas led by Frank Pace, performed three shows in three days at the AmerEquine Horse and Music Festival at Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. The event took place from June 1st-June 3rd.

Vaulters aged from 7 up through 23, and the team boasted a total of 14 vaulters, 3 horses, and 3 lungers performing at each show. Amazing stunts were performed by all ages, and the audience was in awe of this talented team.

The first part of the show demonstrated compulsories. Next was a demonstration on how even disabled individuals can perform. Two vaulters volunteered to do compulsories while "handicapped"...one had her leg taped underneath and performed essentially with one leg, and one vaulter performed with only one hand. Both performed perfectly.

Next came Three Blind Mice, where three vaulters performed completely blind. They not only had face masks, but their eyes were shut with large bandages to ensure they were 100% without site. Again, all 3 performed perfectly. This again demonstrating the fact that even those that are blind can participate in vaulting.

Last but not least were the freestyle routines, which were all amazing. From singles to even a triple, all performances were fantastic.

Audience members came in droves to tell the team how much they loved the performance. There are only two active vaulting teams in Texas, so the sport is little known. The show was a definite success!
